Citizens Financial Group, Inc. [NYSE: CFG] today announced that Chris Emerson has been appointed Head of Investor Relations, effective August 1. Kristin Silberberg, who currently leads Investor Relations, will transition to serve as Chief Financial Officer of the Commercial Bank at that time.

Chris will also continue with his current role as the head of Corporate Planning and Enterprise Finance, with responsibility for the Financial Planning and Analysis for Citizens, which includes the strategic planning and annual budgeting processes.
Before joining Citizens, Chris held finance leadership roles in several banks, including Capital One, Barclays Bank and Citigroup.
